V-Band Clamp & Flanges
Reid Washbon Racing Exhaust maintains an extensive line of Standard & Low Profile V-Band Clamps & Flanges, manufactured exclusively to our exacting specifications. They are used throughout the Racing Industry and our clamps are considered the finest on the market!
Clamp Features Include:
- Extra Heavy gauge precision formed retainers
- .050 rounded edge flat outer band for added strength
- 431 stainless steel heat treated T- Bolt for superior strength & thread life at elevated temperatures
- Silver plated 347 stainless “Tall Beam” style nut for maximum longevity
- Clamps are date coded for traceability
- Common sense size numbering – Clamp # equals nominal flange clamping diameter or O.D.
- Both Quick Release Latch & T-Bolt styles available in many sizes
Recommended torque (1/4-28 nut) – 70 inch lbs. cold – Over tightening is unnecessary and will reduce component life

Marman style Flanges are precision formed from .065 stainless steel tube or sheet. They are compatible with our Machined Flanges and our .255 apex width Standard Profile Clamps. Designed for aircraft applications, Marman Style Flanges are durable, lightweight and attractively priced. Overall length is ¾”-1”.
20° Machined Flanges in this group are bored with the tube diameter straight
through. Overall length is 1/2” – 5/8”.
Both Marman Style and Machined Flanges are universal style. Joints should be fabricated with one tube extending ¼” - 5/16” past the flange face to “register” within its mating flange for proper flange/clamp alignment.
6061 Aluminum Machined Flanges are available in this style to connect intake and ducting lines. They can also be used to join stainless steel and aluminum assemblies with a single common connection. O-Rings can be incorporated into our aluminum flanges for a leak proof seal on turbo, intercooler or high pressure applications.
“Service Master” style one piece stamped clamps are an inexpensive alternative tour top of the line segmented V-Band Clamps. They can be used where frequent disassembly or ultimate durability is not an issue.

Flanges in this group are distinguished by their low profile, thicker cross section. They resist warping and deformation even at elevated temperatures. They have been adapted from existing turbo charger, waste gate and turbo exhaust components used in numerous race series (Including Champ Car, IRL, IMSA & AMLS). Individual flanges can be matched to specific components or used in pairs for the ultimate V-Band Flange connection. Flanges in this series are supplied in a male and female configuration. Low Profile Shallow Retainer (SR) clamps are the most rugged in our inventory.
